Red Marley
Here are a few shots I grabbed from a day of watching some veteran dirt-bikes and riders tear up a hill in Worcestershire. It's an annual event called the Red Marley Hill-climb, didn't know much about it but apparently it's been going for ages. Hard not to take any shots, so many fantastic old bikes and characters riding them. Shot these on my pentax67 and digi.
Architecture in the South Downs
Late last year Dan Brill Architects commissioned me to photograph one of their projects near Winchester, named Point Seven. Really interesting shoot to work on as there were so many nice details and angles to focus on, looking forward to shooting more projects with Dan Brill in the future. More examples on my site.
Ducati shoot in the power station
Recently did another shoot with Redmax Speedshop, this time the Redmax team had just finished this stunning Ducati/cafe-racer build. Seeing as it was a particularly special build I wanted to shoot it in a location that would be just as striking and put some emphasise on engineering. I decided on Fawley Power Station and after a few emails it was sorted, and here are a few shots from the day. Thanks to Russ Morgan for all his help on the day.
See more on my site.
The Docks at Dawn
Got up fresh and early to grab some shots of the docks for 'The Works' project. Here's one I took on the 5x4 camera. Going to be adding more to the project soon!
Out shooting in Southampton water
As part of my continuing project 'The Works' I've been fortunate enough to go out on the water with one the Svitzer boat crews. I followed them for the day as they carried out their precise duty of towing and guiding some of the colossal ships that come in out of Southampton. Here's a few initial examples from the day. Thanks to Darren Matthews and Svitzer.
Shooting custom bikes
Here's a few examples of a quick shoot I did for RedMax Speedshop, a custom motorcycle workshop based in Hampshire. After doing some reconnaissance for locations, Old Sarum Airfield, an old RAF station, seemed to be the perfect location and backdrop for the shoot, and the light inside the main hangar was perfect.
Red Max Speedshop
Popped down to RedMax Speedshop to see what I'll shortly be photographing. Steve, the owner, has got a few flat-trackers and cafe racers for me to photograph. Love the style of these bikes, keen to do some nice detailed pics. Here's a quick pic of his cool workshop.
Trackside shots
Had to grab a few shots in the pits of Gurston Race-track whilst watching my brother race last weekend. Love the aesthetics of racing cars, always something cool and interesting to look at. Couple of pics below to have a gander at and a few more on my site http://www.gregmoss.co.uk/MUD-SWEAT-AND-GEARS
Bright lights and portraits at the power station
Just did some rough lo-res scans from the Fawley Power Station. Really pleased with the night exposure looking across the water, all that time spent sat alone in the dark paid off! Also scanned a couple of portraits of Spider (left) and John, who have both spent a long time working at the power station. Should have another location to add to the project soon!
The Works, new locations
Been adding two more locations and industries to The Works project. These are some rough examples (scanned contact sheets), of Fawley Power Station and Griffon Hoverworks. Looking forward to making a final edit and getting the negs properly scanned in!
Shoot for GamesTM
Did a quick shoot for GamesTM magazine, of the highly influential games creator, Hideo Kojima. Time was limited with Kojima, but managed to get all the shots we needed, and great to see the work over three spreads in their current issue..
Don McCullin at Dunhill
Had the pleasure of going to a talk and meeting Don McCullin at Alfred Dunhill, incredibly talented and humble photographer, was enlightening to hear all his stories. Can remember writing most of my essays at college on his work. Here I am in the picture below, if you don't know me - I'm the handsome chap on the far left stood next to Tom Pilston and The Times photographers.
Facehunter for Times Magazine
Photographed Yvan Rodic (Facehunter) for The Times Magazine. Leads a very cool life, constantly flying to and from fashion shows, photographing only the most beautiful and coolest people. He didn't photograph me or journalist, Ben Machell.....
Featured on FormFiftyFive and It's Nice That
Just had 'The Works' project featured on FormFiftyFive and It's Nice That. Two fantastic sites that I'm thrilled to have my work displayed on, thanks to both!

Rapha in The Times
Work in The Times Magazine
Just had a set of portraits featured in the Top Doctors issue of The Times Magazine (opposite John Carey's portrait on the right). These were taken at Great Ormond Street and Guy's Hospital, I was asked to get portraits of the doctors and staff involved in Kidney transplants for children. It was a quick setup as for obvious reasons the staff had little time to spare, but it worked out well and it was great to meet such a skilled and dedicated team of people!
